Please note that the some PERMIS binary software has software from Stiftung SIC embedded within it.
PERMIS binary software that does not have Stiftung SIC components embedded in them are Simple PERMIS and SAWS. The following paragraph does not apply if you only use Simple PERMIS and/or SAWS, otherwise the conditions of the following paragraph do apply.
The
IAIK
toolkit is a separately licensed product from Stiftung SIC, and if
you use their toolkit, you will need to obtain a separate license from
SIC. (Educational, research and evaluation licenses are currently at no
cost, but commercial licenses must be purchased from Stiftung SIC.) Under
a special agreement between Stiftung SIC and the University of Kent, agreeing
to the PERMIS licence covers you for use of the IAIK software embedded
in PERMIS, for educational and research purposes only. Please keep in mind
that you should contact both us and SIC if you would like to use our products
in a commercial context. By accepting our license you also accept that
we will forward your registered name, affiliation and email-address to
Stiftung SIC. We would also like to inform you that after registration
your user details will be stored at Stiftung SIC, and you may be contacted
by the Stiftung SIC Sales Department.
